Top Ten Basic Make up Tips

Putting on makeup is more than just for beauty purposes as what most of people may believe. Nowadays, make up has become a women’s necessity especially for the career woman. Work requires women to wear make up in the office and it is perceived that women who wear makeup are more beautiful, confident and pleasant. But before jumping and color the face with makeup, learning the basics make up tips is a must to know what is best and what not appropriate make up for different women is.

  1. Synchronize the color of you make up to the color of your clothes. Although there is no strict rules on this, but harmonizing what you wear is a makeup tip that can’t go wrong. In addition to this make up tip, apply makeup that suits the occasion of the day – whether it is for party, casual date or plain work.
  2. Consider the color of your hair, the shade of your eyes and the shape of your face. A sensible make up tip is “No makeup fits all”. It is not a one size fits all for makeup. The color of the hair affects the total look of the face. There are also eye makeup colors that fit certain eye colors and some doesn’t and this same goes to the shape of the face.
  3. It is a basic make up tip to use a lip liner that is similar color to the lipstick, not darker unless it is something for very playful and extreme occasions.
  4. Make up should enhance your beauty. Another make up tip is not to put make that add-up age.
  5. Applying mascara is tricky. Apply it evenly or do not apply it at all. It only makes the face older.
  6. Perhaps the most important make up tip that should be remembered is, if possible, to use make up with natural ingredients to prevent harmful chemicals to enter the body.
  7. Weather and season are factors to be considered in applying makeup. A make up tip is to entwine colors with the current season. Darker and warmer colors are usually the trend during fall and winter.
  8. Consider correct skin tone when applying foundations.
  9. Avoid liquid or creamy make up if the skin is oily.
  10. Highlight one asset at a time. Simplicity is beauty. When highlighting the lip, keep eyes subtle and vice versa. Otherwise, too much highlight on facial assets, it may appear “too much” and chaotic. A make up tip all women should not leave the house with.
